He is: my boyfriend, and I love him dearly. Perfect amount of himbo and athlete without being a jock, everybody give it up for Eren for being my dream boy <3
Eren plays sports year round, with the exception of maybe one or two winter seasons, just because his school/work/home life was too busy for athletics at those times. Otherwise, he’s always go something to practice for: soccer in the fall, hockey in the winter, and his choice of baseball or basketball in the spring.
He’s not a varsity athlete; that is, he’s not “committed” to any one team, so he’s not tied to playing one sport every year, nor are his academics linked to his athletics, or vice versa. He’s just a pretty athletic guy, and he’s got a lot of energy, and he enjoys sports, so naturally he plays whenever he can.
As it turns out, it does help him with his academics. Knowing he’s got practice the majority of the week forces Eren into building a schedule that prioritizes both schoolwork and sports so he can enjoy them equally. It teaches him to be independent in a way that he wasn’t expecting, but he’s come to really love.
And because he loves it, he doesn’t mind working hard for it. Liking the way he’s set it up for himself encourages him to do his best in both areas. It’s really just good for him all around: a good outlet fo his energy, a good way to spend his time, a good way to keep his grades in check, and a good way to keep himself comfortably happy and busy.
His appetite is insatiable, so it’s only dramatized when playing sports. He takes the all you can eat in all you can eat sushi a little too seriously.
The thing is
 he’s a shit cook, too, so it’s not like he’s meal prepping to make sure he’s satisfying his appetite. He just buys a shit ton of food whenever he’s hungry. He’s always asking you if you wanna grab food, and part of it is to ensure that you’re eating—not as much as him, but eating nonetheless—but part of it is that he just likes sharing meals with someone.
He also doesn’t like to eat alone, so even if you only have your ten California rolls to his forty six spicy tuna rolls, that’s fine; he just wants the company.
That’s also why even if you say you’re not hungry, he’ll drag you out to eat with him anyway. And you’ll probably get fed some of his food even if you don’t order anything and insist that you’re not hungry because, “It’s really good, baby, just try it—just one bite, it’s okay I’ve got plenty left!”
He usually keeps a few granola bars and chips and other snacks of his liking on him. But because of Eren’s nature, he keeps them on you, too: in your car, in your backpack, in your apartment/dorm. You’ll meet him after class and he’ll kinda just start walking behind you, and you realize he’s opening your backpack, and you don’t even have time to question him before he’s pulling a bar out of the smallest pocket with a smile and munching on it.
Sometimes you come home and see his little protein shakes in your fridge. You definitely didn’t put them there, but you don’t move them, either. When you stock up on more when they’re running low, Eren contemplates marrying you.
If it’s been a hard week of practice or school, he tends to get sleepy when studying (usually when studying for his least favorite class, no coincidence there). He’ll close his laptop, put his hood up, and scooch his chair closer to yours before leaning his head on your shoulder.
He gets increasingly clingier the longer he naps; hand wrapping around your waist, nose poking at your neck. He’s not so subtly trying to hint that he wants you to quit studying and take him home to cuddle instead. If you don’t get the message, expect him to shut your laptop for you.
When you protest, Eren just looks at you with pouty lips and tired eyes, “Chemistry sucks anyway. Wanna nap, and also wanted you to do that thing with your hands when you massage my back for me.” (He then promptly falls asleep mid-massage on your bed).
He’s actually got a waiver to see a physical massage therapist because of how frequently he’s exercising. On occasion, he goes, but he claims he likes your massages much better. Also because he’s hesitant about a stranger touching him and once he moaned when the guy was working on his back and Eren swears it was one of the most embarrassing moments of his life.
He doesn’t get upset if you can’t make it to every game, but he does like it when you show up. Gets all cheesy and cocky with his arm around your shoulder, going on about how, “You’re my good luck charm, baby. I play better when you’re watching, you know?”
He has so much team clothing, from sweats to hoodies to t-shirts to socks. All he asks is that you wear something on game days, even if you can’t be there to support him while he’s playing. And that you keep one or two things for yourself anyway. He’ll put them in your closet for your if you don’t take them yourself <2
Because seeing you in his hoodie is always great, but his team hoodies are extra special, because they’ve got his name and his number on them. Whenever you’re wearing one, he trails just a half step behind you so he can see JAEGER printed on your back while you walk. Something about you wearing his last name around is
 enticing, to say the least.
Even if it’s not the clothes branded with his name, Eren’s got a thing for you in sweats and/or workout clothes, so he’ll toss them at you whenever you sleep over. He’s always handsy, even if you’re just wearing an Under Armour shirt with the school’s logo on it; the material of it, and knowing that it’s his just makes him want to keep his hands on you.
Truthfully, he doesn’t workout all that much outside of practice. Occasionally, he’ll go to the gym with some of his teammates if they need a buddy, or go himself to stretch or take one of the free classes, but he doesn’t have a strict schedule for it. If you go to the gym, he’ll follow you if you ask, tho.
Turns out something that he does like is yoga. He’s not particularly flexible lmfao, but the stretching helps with muscle pain and tension, and he kinda finds the whole atmosphere of it relaxing. He’s still not so great at the meditation part of it, but he’s getting there.
(Actually, it’s pretty cute because on Tuesday and Thursdays, the yoga classes at the gym on campus are open-level and beginner friendly. That’s when the majority of the athletes show up, and you see people like Eren, Jean and Connie holding tree pose in the back room).
This, of course, makes him think that couples yoga is a great idea. Let’s just say, you’re lucky that Eren is strong enough to catch you and has sharp reflexes, because he’s certainly not the most balanced partner for this activity.
Game days are fun for him, and usually even if his team loses, he’s still so pumped up on adrenaline that he’s pretty happy. He only gets moody if he thinks the other team is playing dirty, or the refs are unfair, or he’s just been in a bad mood because of something that happened in his personal life; sports are an outlet for him, not his drive in life, so losing a game doesn’t take a huge toll on him.
Usually, even if he is upset about something personal, he’s able to funnel it into his game play. Small things used to make his whole sportsmanship sour, but overtime, he’s really gotten better at using his energy to fuel the right things. However, one thing that makes him foul (emotionally and literally; as in he might foul out of a game), is if he’s been fighting with you.
Sometimes it works in his favor—using the game as outlet, like usual—but it goes south pretty quickly. Because instead of using his aggression in a productive way, he gets distracted and easily pissed off, and it’s no good for anybody, especially himself. Because if he fouls out, or the coach takes him out for doing too much, then he can’t play; and if he can’t play then all that pent up frustration has no where to go; and then he’s forced to just sit with himself and his thoughts, but usually he starts deflecting and telling everyone else to piss off. Truly a no good, very bad box he’s put himself in.
You guys don’t fight that often, and it’s rare that it drags out for an extended amount of time when you do; but as with any relationship, it can happen. And when it does happen, if Armin doesn’t get to you first, expect one of Eren’s teammates to come groveling at your feet.
Or, rather, two. Because when you and Eren were fighting for over two weeks about god knows what at this point, it was Connie and Jean who ambushed you in the library. Jean had some pride to keep, but Connie was practically begging you to make up with Eren: “Look, I know he’s probably the one who said or did something to piss you off, and I’m not saying you gotta forgive him, but please just talk to him. I can’t run anymore extra laps because of him, and it’s gonna be so embarrassing if we lose to a C-list team on Friday because Eren’s funking up everyone’s attitude. PLEASE!”
Jean is more interested in the tea between you guys, but he also wants Eren to go back to being his normal hotheaded self, and not his current moody self. “He’s been playing like a bitch baby all week, and I’m gonna knock his skull in if he doesn’t fucking get his act together,” Jean rolls his eyes, “So just show up on Friday, alright? Do it for me and Connie, at least.”
When Eren does see you in the crowd at the game, it’s not a Troy and Gabriella moment, but when he sees you he feels so much relief that he’s physically calmer and way more mentally relaxed—because at this point Eren wasn’t even mad, he was just scared you might break up with him, and that fear brought out the worst in him. Seeing you in the stands, even if you didn’t wanna speak to him, was reassurance that you still gave a damn about him, and that was motivation enough.
He rushes to you after the game, wanting to make sure you don’t get swept away or leave with your friends. He’s smiling and so happy to finally see you that he almost forgets that you’re mad with him; hugging you and grinning ear to ear. When the reality kicks in, he kinda steps back at bit and rubs at his neck, embarrassed, but at least he knows he still has a chance to make things right with you.
(When you do make up, you’re surprised to find flowers and $10 coupon for your favorite pizza place in your mailbox a few days later. They’re from Connie, and his poorly handwritten note thanks you for “saving the team” and “curbing Eren’s temper).

What Language?
This section will focus on the basics of the three intertwined coding languages for website creation. Also this touches on the text editor as well as server and client side languages.
The three musketeers of web pages 
What is HTML
HTML stands for hyper text markup langue. The computer language was created to allow people to make websites for the internet and anyone connected to the Internet can view them once there are launched online. The coding language is relatively simple to learn and most people can grasp the basics in one sitting. The language is consonantly undergoing change and adapting as it should as the internet in which it lives on is always undergoing change. The following will break down the letters of html in more detail.
Hypertext: this is what users click on to take them to other sites be them sites connected to the main page such as addition web pages or external sites. The hyper means its not linear meaning that users can go wherever they want with these links, there is no set order in how to click them.
Markup: this is what html tags do to the text that is inside them. They convert it to a certain type of text such as italicised text until they are formatted to look otherwise via css.
Language: This is like any other language it has code words and syntax again like any other language.
The way it works is the codes are all type in by the creator or coder. The text is then saved as an HTML file type and can then be launched and view through the browser. The browser reads the language and translates it into visible form and rendering them as the creator or coder wanted them to look. The html language can be written in the simplest or the most complicated text editors one can find or buy. The language uses tags to do most of its work, the tags allow more style to happen such as bold the text and making lines between paragraph and of course having images. There are multiple tags in html to style the page and when the page is launched their effects will take place but css is where most of the style comes from for html.

What is CSS
CSS stands for Cascading Style Sheet. This is the second thing a person would learn after learning the foundations of html. The language is different to html in that html would be used to make the structure of the website while css would stylise the page. The page layouts, colours and fonts all come from css. The best way to think of it is that html is a brick house while the css is the decorations and furniture on the inside.
CSS reacts to the html elements, these elements being the lone html components and tags. If the html paragraph was to be pink its as simple as taking the “P” tag from html putting it in css with some “{}” and inside that place “color:pink;” and then the paragraph would appear pink, other things could be changed such as the font size and boldness as well as the font colour. The language is similar to html in that it can be written in any text editor and is saved for the web the same way the only difference being that html is saved as .html which css is saves as .css. The styles that are created for css do have to be linked to the html file so it knows to use those styles and this is done by placing the “<link rel=”stylesheet”  type=”text/css” href=mysitestyle.css”>” into the html head tag so that when the page loads the css is read by the browser first and it knows to load the styles so the user wont see any of the raw html styling.

What is Java Script
JavaScript or JS for short is the third and sometimes forgotten web code, while its not just designed for code entirely it is combine with HTML and CSS to make some really impressive websites. JS is a full fledged dynamic programming language and this is probably why people wont associate it with html due to its programming name and nature. The language is incredibility versatile and beginner friendly for anyone looking to learn code, it can be used to create games, animated 2D and 3D graphics and much more. Lots of developers have written a heap of extra tools on top of JavaScript for when people master the basics they can download these tools and create more complex things and loads of extra functionality from the software. These can range from: 
Third party API which allows developers to incorporate API’s from other sites such as Instagram or Facebook.
Browser Application Programming interfaces which can provide web browsers with additional functionality like creating html and css dynamically and collecting and manipulating video streams from a webcam or making 3d graphics and audio clips.
JavaScript is the next step up from css in terms of making a web page look amazing. The JavaScript can make movable gallery's, forms, and even have interactive items on the page that the users can click on or have things follow there cursor, in short the most impressive website have JavaScript capabilities in them and to make that simpler the best websites have the best of all worlds, HTML, CSS and JS.

Browser behaviour
There are many different web browsers on the internet/market for users of the internet to use in the present time. Each one wants more users to use them as their main web browser but the choice is up to the users as each one provides different benefits/annoyances in terms of their features that attract and drive people away. Some of the main ones are Internet Explorer, google chrome, Mozilla Firefox and Safari. 
Internet explorer: Internet explorer is a web browser that comes bundled or pre-installed on the Microsoft OS (operating system) meaning that most computers have the web browser and can decide if they want to use it or not but has been replaced by the new edge browser as the default but is still installed. The browser is the second most used browser with 29.6% of the market while chrome which is first has 50.9%. (Rouse, 2016)
Chrome: Is the most popular browser on the market mainly as it’s fast, easy to use and has a simple design. The browser has an omnibar which combines the address bar and the search bar so searches can be done with URLS as well as words very quickly.
Firefox:  Firefox is a browser that is used by 500 million users worldwide and can be used for Linux, windows and macs as well as handhelds with 70 languages available. The browser has a high priority set on security for users when searching online and is known for being the most customizable browser on the market.
Safari: Safari like internet explorer is the default browser but for macs not Pcs (computers). The browser is simple in its design and can load pages easily and is offers loads of customisation options to it users which may prefer it to others due to its simplicity.

Client side and Server side languages 
These are what website scripts run on. Most web coding languages are designed to run on either the Client side which is something like when a user logins into a website from their home computer or from the Server side which can be when the server displays information. The client side language has several advantages such as faster response times and a more interactive application. Client side is good for when pages need to change without the database for example dynamically showing and hiding elements based on the inputs but these do require more effort and some web browser may not support the scripting language. The server side runs on the server, not on the computer which is why they are called server side. The most popular of the server side is Microsoft’s ASP.NET which uses .NET frameworks written in languages such as C#(c sharp). Server side processing happens as soon as the page is requested and will also take users inputs such as navigating to other pages. A few disadvantages of server side is that it can introduce processing overhead which can decrease performance and make users have to wait which will drive them away especially for today’s web users. The client must also have to wait for the server to process their request which may drive them away.

Text Editor
The text editor is what people use to make the code that allows the site to actually exist. There are loads of text editors but there are ones specifically designed for web and have certificate functionalities in them that can help with creating code and highlight mistakes. 
The text editor can save code for the web as long as the person knows the right stages and saves them correctly with the .html or .css file type at the end when they save their code. The two editors that one has used before is brackets and notepad and both are very different and there are plenty more out there but it makes more sense to use a program that has been used before in which one is comfortable. Below is a table highlighting the two editors showing advantages and disadvantages of the two.

The text editor that was picked was the brackets text editor as it provides a number of benefits to the coder and while it is true that improving skills on your own is a great advantage in one's mind it is just overshadowed by the time scale. Being reasonable, it makes more sense to take the help especially due to the lack of coding experience that one possesses.

I originally published this giant cinnamon roll cake several years ago and after making it 7,938x since then (approximation, of course), I decided to add some updates. It’s even better now!

Perfect for Yeast Beginners
Do you love homemade cinnamon rolls, but are nervous to bake with yeast? I used to be this way too, but my easy cinnamon rolls completely changed that mindset. They only need 1 short rest period and 1 long rise, as opposed to two long rises like my overnight cinnamon rolls. Same fluffy cinnamon roll goodness, but in half the time. We’re using a very similar dough recipe for today’s cinnamon roll cake.
Here’s my #1 tip: I exclusively use Red Star Yeast in my bread baking and always recommend readers do the same. A dependable yeast like Platinum Yeast by Red Star pretty much guarantees dough success. This is an instant yeast, which helps cut down on rise time. Not only this, its careful formula strengthens your dough and makes working with yeast simple. And simple, especially when it comes to bread baking, is always good.
Bottom line: I recommend Platinum Yeast by Red Star in this cinnamon roll cake.
Video Tutorial: Giant Cinnamon Roll Cake
How to Make a Giant Cinnamon Roll Cake
Make the dough: The ingredients are pretty standard: flour, sugar, salt, yeast, milk, butter, and egg. Heat the butter and milk together. Next, stir or beat the milk mixture into the dry ingredients, then add the egg. After mixing, your dough is ready to knead. You’ll notice I use all milk (no water) and *slightly* more butter than my easy cinnamon rolls recipe. I wanted a richer dough for this cinnamon roll cake. Same great results.
Knead the dough: You can use your mixer or hands to knead the dough. Watch me knead the dough with my hands in the video tutorial above. When you’re finished kneading, cover the dough and let it rest for about 30 minutes. It won’t really rise during this time, but this allows the gluten to relax, which makes shaping much easier.
Fill & shape the cinnamon roll cake: Here’s where the fun starts! Roll the dough out into a 15×12 inch rectangle. Spread the softened butter on top, then sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon. Using a sharp knife or pizza cutter, slice the dough into 6 horizontal strips. (Each are 15 inches long.) Roll up 1 strip and place in a greased pan. Coil the remaining 5 strips around the center roll, starting each strip at the end of the previous one to make one large cinnamon roll. Some of the filling may spill out as you pick up the strips, so just sprinkle it on top of the cake when you’re done shaping it.
Rise: Let the shaped cake rise until doubled in size, about 1-2 hours. Remember, this is the only rise time required!
Bake: After the giant cinnamon roll cake is puffy, bake until golden brown.
Drizzle with vanilla icing: Whisk confectioners’ sugar, milk, and vanilla extract together until smooth. Drizzle all over the warm cake.
Cinnamon Roll Cake Step-by-Step Pictures
Mix the dry ingredients together. Heat the butter and milk together.
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients, add the egg, and beat into a slightly soft dough. (If you don’t have a mixer, you can make this dough by hand.)
Knead this dough, then let it rest for about 30 minutes.
Roll out into a large rectangle. Top with softened butter.
Sprinkle a mixture of brown sugar and cinnamon on top, then cut into 6 strips. Roll up 1 strip.
Place into your greased pan. Coil remaining strips around it.
Before baking, let the shaped cake rise until puffy:
3 Helpful Tips
Best pan to use: I recommend a 9-inch round pie dish or cake pan.
Keep it flat: While the giant cinnamon roll cake is baking, some spots may rise up more than other spots. That’s completely normal and expected from something this large! Simply remove the pan from the oven and, with the back of a spatula, press down the spots that are rising taller than others to help keep them even.
Don’t have all morning to spend on this dough? Feel free to prep the dough the night before. This is a wonderful way to save time in the morning so you can wake up and eat sooner! See my make-ahead/overnight instructions in the written recipe below.

Learn how to make a beautiful, fluffy, and fun cinnamon roll cake using my kitchen-tested shortcut dough recipe. Review the video tutorial above and recipe notes below before beginning.
Ingredients
2 and 3/4 cups (345g) all-purpose flour (spoon & leveled), plus more as needed
1/4 cup (50g) granulated sugar
1 teaspoon salt
2 and 1/4 teaspoons Platinum Yeast by Red Star (1 standard packet)*
3/4 cup (180ml) whole milk
1/4 cup (4 Tablespoons; 60g) unsalted butter
1 large egg, at room temperature
Filling
1/4 cup (4 Tablespoons; 60g) unsalted butter, softened to room temperature
1/4 cup (50g) packed light or dark brown sugar or granulated sugar
1 Tablespoon ground cinnamon
Vanilla Icing
1 cup (120g) confectioners’ sugar
2 Tablespoons (30ml) milk or heavy cream
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
Instructions
Make the dough: Whisk the flour, sugar, salt, and yeast together. Set aside. Heat the milk and butter together in the microwave until the butter is melted and the mixture is warm to the touch, between 100-110°F, 38-43°C. Pour the warm milk mixture into the dry ingredients. Add the egg. Using a handheld or stand mixer fitted with a dough hook or paddle attachment, or using a rubber spatula and mixing by hand, beat/mix the mixture until a soft dough forms. The dough is ready when it gently pulls away from the sides of the bowl. If the dough is pretty sticky, beat/mix in 2-4 extra Tablespoons of flour. (Keep in mind that you want the dough to remain on the softer side.)
Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface. With lightly floured hands, knead the dough for 3 minutes (for a visual, watch me knead in the video above).
